End User License Agreement

This End User License Agreement (the “Agreement”) is a binding contract between you and Go Nations covering your use of the Go Nations mobile and web applications (the “App”). By creating an account, signing in, or using the App, you agree to everything below. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users

Go Nations exists to help churches and organizations run mission trips. It carries content that members post themselves — photos, captions, and messages. There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior on Go Nations.

You agree that you will not post, send, upload, or share:

  • Harassment, bullying, threats, intimidation, or stalking of any person;
  • Hate speech or content that attacks or demeans a person or group based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or age;
  • Sexually explicit material, nudity, or any content that sexualizes a minor;
  • Graphic violence, or content that promotes, glorifies, or incites violence or self-harm;
  • Content that is unlawful, defamatory, or fraudulent;
  • Spam, scams, phishing, malware, or unsolicited commercial solicitation;
  • Content that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark, or privacy;
  • Photographs of other people — especially minors — that you do not have permission to share.

You also agree not to impersonate anyone, not to harass other members through private messages, and not to attempt to evade a block or a suspension by creating a new account.

Accounts that post objectionable content or abuse other members are removed. We do not issue warnings for the most serious violations — sexual content involving minors, credible threats of violence, and hate speech result in immediate and permanent termination, and may be reported to law enforcement.

2. How we moderate

We enforce this Agreement in four ways:

  • Automatic filtering. Captions, chat messages, profile names, and organization and trip descriptions are screened automatically before they are saved. Content matching our prohibited-language filter is rejected and never published.
  • Reporting. Every post and every chat message can be reported from inside the App. Open the “⋯” menu on a post, or press and hold a message, and choose Report.
  • Blocking. You can block any member from the same menu. A block takes effect immediately: you and that member stop seeing each other’s posts and messages everywhere in the App. Blocking also notifies our moderators and sends them the content that prompted it. You can review and undo your blocks under Profile › Settings › Blocked accounts.
  • Review within 24 hours. We review every report within 24 hours. Where we find a violation, we remove the content and eject the member who posted it. Suspending an account also removes every post and message that account has written.

We may remove content or suspend an account at our discretion, with or without notice, when we believe this Agreement has been broken.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you grant Go Nations a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, and display that content for the purpose of operating the App — including showing it to the organization, trip, or group you scoped it to.

You are responsible for what you post. You confirm that you have the rights to it, and that you have permission from anyone identifiable in a photo you upload.

4. Your account

You must be at least 13 years old to use Go Nations. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. You may delete your account at any time from Profile › Settings › Delete account.

5. License

Subject to this Agreement, Go Nations grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal and organizational use. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the App, or use it to build a competing service.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you break this Agreement. Your license ends immediately on termination. Sections 1, 3, 7, and 8 survive.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The App is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Go Nations does not pre-screen all user-generated content and is not responsible for content posted by members, though we remove it when it is reported and violates this Agreement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Go Nations is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of the App.

8. General

This Agreement is between you and Go Nations only, and not with Apple Inc. or Google LLC. Apple and Google have no responsibility for the App or its content. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement and may enforce it against you.

We may update this Agreement. When we make a material change, you will be asked to accept the updated terms the next time you open the App. Continuing to use the App after accepting means you agree to the revised Agreement.
