Delete Your Account & Data

You can permanently delete your Go Nations account — and the data associated with it — at any time, directly from the app. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Delete your account in the app

1. Open the Go Nations app and sign in.
2. Go to the Profile tab and open Settings.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
4. Confirm. Your account and data are deleted immediately.

If you are the only owner of an organization on Go Nations, you’ll be asked to transfer ownership or delete the organization first — an organization can’t be left without an owner.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

• Your account and sign-in credentials
• Your profile, including your display name and photo
• Your trip applications and trip memberships
• Your chat messages
• Your support-raising / giving page
• Push notification tokens for your devices

What may be retained

• Donation records. Donations are processed by the receiving organization through its own Stripe account. Financial transaction records are retained by Stripe and the organization as required for accounting, tax, and legal compliance. Go Nations never holds donated funds.
• Backups. Deleted data may persist in encrypted backups for a limited period before those backups expire and are purged.

Can’t access the app?

If you can no longer sign in — or you’ve uninstalled the app — you can request deletion by emailing hello@gonations.app from the email address on your account, with the subject “Account deletion request.” We’ll verify the request and complete the deletion.
